You must be prepared with the necessary items required as outlined by your trainer. These items include many high value food treats, a 6’ or longer flat leash, a treat pouch, as well as other items that your trainer may specify.
5. Health & Safety Policy:
For any in-person sessions your dog must be healthy, bright, alert, and free from contagious disease. You must contact your trainer if your dog develops any of the following prior to an in-person training session: vomiting and/or diarrhea; coughing and/or sneezing; nasal and/or eye discharge (that is yellow or green in colour); skin lesions or hair loss; ticks and/or fleas.
You will be required to provide proof of vaccination and any other specified preventative treatment upon scheduling an in-person service. You understand that if you are unable to provide proof of vaccination prior to the first in-person service, Treat Me Right reserves the right to reschedule or transfer in-person dog training services to online training services.
Before a trainer enters your home all dogs must be securely managed in a way that ensures the safety of the trainer and all other members of the household during the trainer’s arrival. Do not allow dogs with reactive, aggressive, or fearful tendencies to greet a trainer at the door.
During training sessions there must be one adult handler available per dog. Guardians assume all responsibility for participating minors and must be present during all stages of training. Individuals under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by an adult who is not also handling a dog.
